Global Compact

We undertake our activities in accordance with the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact. Through this initiative, of which we have been signatories since 2003, companies voluntarily commit to meet and report their performance in terms of principles related to human rights, labor relations, the environment, and fighting corruption.

Pro-Gender and Race Equality Program

The program aims to promote equality between men and women in the labor market, contributing to eliminating all forms of discrimination in access, remuneration, growth and permanence on the job, to combat discrimination and promote human rights.

We have participated in the six successive editions of the Pro-Gender and Race Equity Program since its launch in 2006. For having satisfactorily met the requirements set forth in each of these editions, we have been awarded six consecutive Pro-Gender and Race Equity Seals.

WEPs Brazil 2021 Award

We received the silver trophy, in the large companies category, for the WEPs Brazil 2021 Award – Women's Empowerment Principles. The award seeks to encourage and recognize the efforts of companies that promote a culture of gender equality and the empowerment of women in Brazil, and is credited by the United Nations, through the United Nations Global Compact and by the United Nations Women, with its Brazilian representations, the Brazilian Network of the UN Global Compact and the UN Women in Brazil. The 2021 edition of the award was carried out by the Ganha-Ganha Program: Gender equality means good business – a partnership between UN Women and the International Labor Organization (ILO)

Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI),

We are members of the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI), an organization formed by the presidents of the ten largest oil and gas operators in the world. The OGCI aims to increase the scope, speed, and scale of the actions undertaken by individual companies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in their oil and gas activities. The organization intends to invest in actions in carbon capture, use and storage; natural gas; energy efficiency, and transportation.
